Shauna Lynn is known for her honesty, passion, and out-of-the-box thinking. As a co-author of the acclaimed book "The Things I Learned From A Well-Designed Business," Shauna Lynn shares their valuable insights and experiences, inspiring both designers and entrepreneurs. Her perspectives have been featured in newspapers, home décor and business magazines, and television, establishing her as a respected industry thought leader.
Christiane Roy (she/her)
Senior Designer
With a degree in Architecture (Brazil), Christiane has a passion for space-planning from function and style to the technical details and everything in between. With a focused and thoughtful approach, she takes great care to understand your needs, identifying how you use each space and interact with your home.
Christiane takes a methodical approach to her creative expression, taking into consideration your needs and your style and combining everyday function with lasting design.
From simple decorating and styling to large reconstruction and renovations, Christiane has all of your decorating and design needs covered, providing a positive experience with a seamless execution.
Alex Braun (she/her)
Senior Designer
After graduating from Sheridan College’s Interior Decorating program with honours, Alex has spent the last five years honing her craft and delivering tailored, intentional and inviting spaces to her clients and their families. As a Senior Designer, Alex brings her expertise to provide an incredible experience to Beyond The Design Studio clients.
Alex approaches every project with the same goals: to educate her clients so they feel empowered to make informed decisions, to maintain open and transparent communication through each stage of a project, and ultimately, to understand their interior dreams and turn any vision into a tangible reality.
With her meticulous attention to detail, expert planning, creative problem-solving and passion for design, Alex can effortlessly take a project from concept to completion and have fun doing it.
Joanne Nechanicky (she/her)
Client Experience Specialist
Joanne is our office superstar and your first point of contact when you work with Beyond The Design Studio. With a degree in Psychology from Wilfred Laurier University and experience in administration and customer relations roles, she is the perfect fit for the position of Client Experience Specialist. The title says it all: she collaborates with the client and team members to facilitate the ultimate client experience by scheduling initial meetings and consultations, providing details about our services, and working to identify how we can best serve our clients' needs.
In her spare time, Joanne enjoys reading, watching HGTV, gardening, hiking and being outdoors whenever possible.
